My story

Hi, I'm Louise!

As an ADHD coach, I support ADHD and other neurodivergent individuals as an ally, a thinking partner and accountability support.

I help you explore your values, strengths, strategies and what brings you joy, so that we can tap into your intrinsic sources of motivation.

I have in-depth training in positive psychology, coaching psychology, and ADHD coaching, plus 17+ years working in education PLUS a lived experience with late-diagnosed ADHD.

Before coaching, teaching was my passion. I loved it, the individual characters, their questions, insights, and those "Ah-ha!" moments were pure magic. Yes, there were challenging days, but who doesn't have those?

But despite my experience increasing, the years passed and yet the challenging days never seemed to get less frequent.

The demands of school life and undiagnosed ADHD took a toll on my mental and physical health. After years of battling anxiety, depression, food intolerances, allergic reactions and pain, an ADHD diagnosis finally provided clarity as to why I was struggling so much. Suddenly all these pieces came together and it all made sense!

My brain and body had been screaming out for attention, and I finally listened - I quit teaching and began to decode what ADHD was for me.

I've learned to listen to my body's signals, identifying when I'm overstimulated or anxious. I've discovered how to collaborate with my ADHD rather than battle against it. I've deciphered why some strategies never clicked for me and experimented with my own. I now have the tools to combat procrastination swiftly, avoiding prolonged bouts of inaction, and I'm attuned to recognising burnout signals.

And because I love reading research, I have tons of knowledge that helped me understand how to manage the challenges of ADHD, but also how to tap into the advantages of this fascinating brain.

And if you're ready, I’m here to help you do the same!

My ADHD Mission

I am deeply committed to helping people with late diagnosed ADHD to feel seen, heard and safe in their journey to better understand themselves and develop strategies for managing and benefiting from their ADHD.

My approach of creating a safe and supportive space for individuals with ADHD to explore their true selves, without fear of judgment or criticism, is a crucial first step in helping develop self-awareness and self-acceptance.

This process can be particularly important for those who have spent a lifetime masking their true selves due to the challenges associated with undiagnosed ADHD.

Using knowledge from a Masters in applied positive psychology and coaching psychology, over 17 years working in education and my own lived experience of late-diagnosed ADHD. Plus, I love science and reading the most up-to-date research on ADHD to inform my practice so that I can help you too!
